Decked out in our red, white and blue, we stopped at the park after watching the 4th of July parade and feed the ducks and a muskrat!
After an all-American dinner of burgers, we enjoyed some holiday novelty popsicles!
Staying up later than usual waiting to watch the fireworks, we kept busy playing with chalk in the driveway (and getting it all over my clothes).
Eve was very busy with her chalk artwork.
Finally, the sun set and we headed up to Hunt Park to watch the fireworks that our neighbors set off.
There were some pretty big ones for being just a neighborhood show!
Eve enjoyed the show - with her headphones of course!
I simply could not stay up that late and fell asleep while the first fireworks were going off. Maybe next year...
