Daddy's Co-Pilot

I love my new riding seat! I'm Daddy's backseat driver!

Friends

William and I delicately played a duet.  Charles enjoyed getting a ride on Lotty! I directed traffic while William pushed! One more try at a picture of all three of us. Strike a pose, there's nothing to it.

St Patrick's Day Adventures

The Fowlers came to visit us for a weekend of fun! We celebrated St Patrick's Day with lots of outdoor activities! I explored the big kids play structure. Climbing up the steps... ...trying to keep my balance while walking on the bridge... ...wondering how fun it would be to go down the slide... ...deciding I should go backwards. Hanging out in the backyard... ...and practicing my heavy lifting for the Highland Games. Lesson learned: Coordinating a picture opportunity of a 3-year old, 14-month old and 5-month old outdoors with lots of distractions - not possible.

Reading & Eating

I am very interested in reading books right now. I have piles of them in various rooms in the house.  I like to turn the pages all by myself. And enjoy the pictures. It is also fun to put everything behind my head. Reading by osmosis.  Besides reading, I am a very busy girl - sorting through all my toys and finding the noisiest ones to shake! To keep my energy levels up, I've got to eat and peanut butter and jelly definitely hits the spot! I mean, I really enjoy it! Despite missing my two front teeth! My little fangs and molars are getting the job done just fine.

Solo Sledding!

The next morning after we got back from winter vacation, we finally got a decent snowfall. We headed straight for the sled hill! This time there were no other kids to compete with so I got to slide down the hill all by myself!  But I go faster when I'm with Mommy! We had so much fun sledding that I fell asleep after lunch at Casey's while still sitting at the table!

Future Ski Patroller

I headed out west with my parents and grandparents for a winter vacation in Park City! Unfortunately, I was a little too young to ski myself, so a chairlift bench downtown was as close to hitting the slopes as I got! But Mommy & Daddy had fun skiing in Park City -  and at Alta! I got lots of playtime with my grandparents and with a friendly babysitter so Grandma and Grandpa could enjoy the outdoors cross country skiing. Thankfully my Mommy brought along a few of my toys, like one of my favorite lift the flap books! I went for walks downtown and hung out with the local creatures we encountered. And I improvised at the condo - finding all sorts of things in the kitchen to play with - or sit in.   I was an extremely well behaved little girl when we went out to dinner several times. All I needed was a lime and a straw to keep me occupied! I passed on the salt (& tequila). It was loads of winter family fun! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!

Fun at Hunt Park

So we haven't gotten much snow this winter to enjoy lots of outdoor adventures, but we immediately headed to our neighborhood park as soon as it had snowed just a few inches!  The park is well known in town as having one of the best sled hills, so it was packed with all ages of kids! I got to do down the hill with my parents and also tried to walk around all bundled up in my winter gear.  Enjoying the outdoors was fun!
