Who needs a hug?

Dinner and play time with Cousin Louis - and Cora just wanted to share some love with him.  Then it was my turn! Lots of cousin hugs!

Hands On Time

I tried really hard to get this fire truck moving -  it didn't budge but it was still fun.  Daddy was excited that John & Eve were learning about building a building! Eve built a really tall tower - just for me to push over! Cousin Louis really liked the tornado machine!

USA

At school, I've been very interested in learning about the States. Here's my map of the USA!

Indoor Sledding

Cora decided to burn off some of her breakfast calories doing a little indoor sledding.  I helped steer the way a few times.  But she preferred going solo most of the time.  She was a big help moving the luggage cart.  I don't think that Dad could have done it by himself! Three cheers for another fun ski trip up north!

Johnny Mac

Which way should we go?  Definitely down Johnny Mac!

Water Adventures

Day 2 of our ski trip meant that everyone just went skiing for a few hours in the morning and then we all got to play together at the water park - and watch Daddy try to surf! I thought it was very amusing!  We capped the night off with me getting my first 'chairlift' ride!

Hitting the Slopes

Our first morning at Boyne Mountain and we filled up on some yummy breakfast! Then John and I hit the slopes with Mom - and Dad! Taking chairlift selfies was a fun activity - that occurred frequently! We stopped for some delicious snacks from our friend's slopeside cabin!. We skied hard all day long!

Now it's my Birthday!

Eve made me a very nice card at school today.  My answer is "Yes"! Once again, Cora decided I needed her help with opening.  A new, bigger suitcase for all my Hot Wheels! Does this mean that maybe -   - Yes! And a new track! We enjoyed a special treat - crab legs which won out over our regular dinners.  I waited patiently for Mom to take a picture of me with my mint chocolate brownie sundae -  - which meant that left an opening for Cora to sneak in for the first bite!

Super Sunday

Back to typical winter weather - playing in the snow! What's a Super Bowl party at your friend's house without some puzzles to keep you busy?  And how is it possible that all of the kids were oblivious to the large chocolate birthday cake right in front of us?!

Birthday Party

Hooray! My birthday wish came true - Eve shrunk so now I'm the biggest kid! Oh wait, that's Cora.  Eve made a welcoming sign for my grandparents to come and celebrate with me! I couldn't contain my excitement over getting to open presents! But I let Cora help me do some of the opening! And other times, she sat nicely in her chair waiting for another opportunity to help. Grandpa gave me some very special presents - some of his old Lionel trains and tracks.  He even got some of them when he was a little boy just my age! Eve used her camera to capture some of my presents.  Some new clothes to go with the toys.  And a really cool race car tube track that even her puppy loved! Finally it was time for cake! So many candles, they are starting to block out my face! Success! It was a very nice celebration indeed!
