Handsome

Don't I look handsome? Eve and I were playing in our room and I decided to get dressed up all by myself!

Up, Up and Away

Eve and I had fun at the Chelsea Fair tonight! We went round & round and up & up! Sometimes, I was not so sure I was going to like it - but it was big fun as evidenced by Eve's expression! The last ride of the day was just Daddy and I getting spinning with some dragons!

Cake!

Finally it was time for this cake that everyone kept asking about. Hmmm...they've never put such a large piece of food in front of me before. This is something I'm supposed to eat, right? Let me make sure I'm getting enough. Yes, this is really good! I think I should use both hands! I did my best - about half of the cake eaten before I waved it off. I think there are some other kids that won't mind finishing the rest of it for me.

It's My Birthday!

Hello there! Can you guess how many I am now? Yup, 12 months! I'm a very happy big girl! One of my favorite things this past month was getting some new shoes! I love them! And love walking everywhere! And playing big kid sports. And I don't always need help. This is my face when I screech to let you know that I don't like what you are doing.   When it was time for presents, I had a lot of people offering to help me open them up. Some of them though I didn't need any help with! Ella made me a colorful quilt, which was very nice, but I was ready to see what was in the next box. Look - a new music book! Lots of little forest animals that hide in a stuffed tree house! So many cool new toys, it was hard to put one down to go to the next one.   But this new high seas rocker required all of my attention. I loved it! All of my cousins were able to party with me - and my grandparents too! Nothing beats a good family cel

Da!

Da! That is what I have to say. You figure what I mean (and it's not my Daddy). It's usually accompanied with pointing number 1! Post dinner walk in the park, carrying Eve's purse for her!

Play Ball - One More Time

Our last T-ball game for the summer! This time, Eve came out with me to help in the field instead of Daddy. After watching for weeks, Cora wanted in on the action! It's a little hard to swing a bat that is taller than you! One more hit! Score one more run for the Royal team! Go Royals!

Kayak Adventures

After dropping Cora off at Grandma and Grandpa's, the rest of us headed to the Huron River for a kayak trip through the cascades and further down the river! Boys went with boys and girls went with girls.  John had a paddle, but didn't use it that much. I was a big help to Mommy with my paddling. Great times on the river!

Play Ball

I really enjoyed playing T-ball this summer, and made improvements in just a few weeks of play. Here I am ready to play shortstop. Cora enjoyed her front row seat from behind home plate. It was a great view to watch me hit! One last team picture!
