Meet the Cousins

My Brodjeski cousins came to meet me. Ella was very excited and gentile with me, while John kept a close watch. Nathan thought I was pretty cool too! Aunt Jennifer was a natural! So of course, Eve needed a turn if everyone else got to hold me! Grandma and Grandpa now have 5 grandkids!

Girls Day

With summer camp over and Daddy back to work, we had a day just for the girls! I took Cora around to my favorite places at the Matthaei Botanical Gardens. I got to pick my own bouquet of four flowers from the children's garden! It was a beautiful morning!

First Dinner Outing Tradition

No surprise here, my first dinner outing was to Casey's!

Good bye Sheldy!

Daddy found Sheldy during a run around the river. We kept him happy for about 4 months and watched him grow. Today we took him to the pond by Daddy's apartments and released him back into the wild!

Last Day of Y5s

I had such a fun year in Y5 with new teachers! I made new friends, loved to draw, make fuse bead creations, play house and go on lots of exciting field trips! I will miss everyone but I'm ready for my next adventure! Ms Kim says she loves my fierce personality! Ms Sarah says she loves how I always want to help! While I was busy enjoying my last day at Gretchen's House, Cora took advantage of the quiet at home!

Fair Fun

This laying around business is tiring... While I made silly sleeping faces at Mommy, Daddy took John & Eve to the Chelsea Fair! They had fun on the rides with August! And August's Daddy! It's hard to tell who enjoyed it the most!

The Great Outdoors

Cora enjoyed her first trip to the Arb and the Huron River during the day. Right after school, I got my daily turn holding Cora and then after dinner, everyone headed outdoors together and - I raced Daddy around the track. I'm pretty fast! I practiced my balancing skills (with just a little help from Daddy)! I could win some Olympic medals someday!

Naptime All the Time

Eve and John went off to school today, I got to stay home with Mommy & Daddy and do what I enjoy most right now - sleep!

Homecoming

Day Two - Still lots holding! And lots & lots of love! A short car ride from the hospital and I was home! Fleece doggy pajamas on a hot August day? Mommy insisted since it's the same outfit that Eve and John wore home from the hospital! Back to big sister holding me!

Three's Company

My Birth Day

Hello world! Here I am - Cora Ann McKinnon! All 9 pounds, 5 ounces and 22 inches of me! I almost arrived on my due date. I made Mommy's water break at 11pm on my due date, August 19th. Things progressed quickly from there and I got to meet my Mommy at 3:44am on August 20th! And get big snuggles from my Daddy too! A few hours later, my big siblings came to meet me (that's me everyone is smiling at hidden in the blankets)! I quickly realized the theme for today was "Who gets to hold Cora now?" My big sister Eve is a pro after lots of practice with her dolls at home! And my big brother John was just as ready! I certainly can get used to this! More turns - this time for Grandma! And of course Grandpa too! Eve made sure that my hearing test was performed without any problems. She wouldn't let me far out of her sight! Phew, a break to rest in my crib. Then back to being held once my other Grandma arrived! Papa Joe was

Sunday Stroll

Everyone went for a nice morning walk through the woods... by the river! For now, no strollers needed!
