Fireworks!

We ventured to the little village of Manchester to watch a fireworks show. We went early, found a good spot, passed the time waiting for it to get dark by playing with bubbles and eating snacks. Thankfully, Daddy brought me some headphones so I was all prepared for the loud bangs!

John had his own pair of headphones and he fall asleep just as it was getting dark.

We broke out some glow sticks once the sun went down. Unfortunately, it started raining just after it got dark. We waited it out for a little bit but ultimately packed up all our stuff and was starting to head back to the car when -  

 - the fireworks started!

 Hooray!

Despite being wet and standing to watch the show, it was lots of fun! And most amazingly, John slept through all the loud firework bangs!
