New Captain Onboard

My first boat trip of the season! I watched how Daddy drove the boat.  Then I took over the wheel. I tried my hardest to go faster, I thought I saw Daddy push this throttle down.  Driving is serious stuff. You have to concentrate every minute.

Pool Party

After a nap to revive me after my peony exploring, I got to play outside with my new pool.  I preferred to play with the water from outside the pool at first.  But once I got in, I had fun splashing around! It was big time fun!

Smelling Flowers

My busy day started with exploring the Peony Garden at Nichols Arboretum with both of my grandmas! I enjoyed smelling lots of different flowers.   In all sorts of colors! The flowers were at just the right height for me! Sometimes, my sniffing turns into blowing but I don't think the flowers cared.

Busy Party Day

I had a super busy day helping to celebrate my cousin's birthday. I intently watched Nathan open his birthday presents. Grandpa took Ella and I for a wagon ride around the neighborhood. I had a picnic eating dinner with my cousins outside, while keeping track of my box of crayons.  And I made sure to pick up any items that I might have dropped under the table. And eat them.  After dinner, I had lots of fun climbing on the play structure.  At first, I needed help going down the slide.  It was so much fun, I kept running in circles to repeat the climb and the slide. I'm so fast - a blur! Eventually after several assisted practice trips, I was able to go down the slide solo! All by myself and while still holding onto my two crayons.  Finally, I got to eat birthday cake.  Sometimes, you just need to bypass the utensil and use your fingers still!

Argo Cascades

On a nice spring day, we went for a walk down to the Argo Cascades, a newly built river enhancement project.  I enjoyed climbing on the rocks. And watching the water rush by.

I Scream, You Scream

We all scream for ice cream! We made a trip to Washtenaw Dairy where I got to sample Daddy's chocolate ice cream cone and Mommy's vanilla ice cream cone.  I chose vanilla and ran away with MY cone! YUM. YUM.
