We heard that Mom & Dad did a lot of fun outdoor activities - from golfing to beach walks along the shores of Grand Traverse Bay. Fun mountain bike trail riding! And celebrating their wedding anniversary on Torch Lake! We enjoyed time at home with Grandma and Grandpa - and we of course could convince them to get ice cream!
Our last day of the trip started with another walk along the shore and a stop for a swing. Then over to visit Mom's friend to play with other kids on beach. I spent most of the time kayaking in the little creek and out in the bay. A sand pile of new friends - with Cora in charge?! Refueling after a day in the sun with friends for dinner and waffles for dessert!
In the afternoon, we headed over to Aunt Sarah and Matt's place for dinner and outside fun. I had the longest stick to help keep me away from the fire as the marshmallow roasted. Time for sparklers! Once it was dark, we sat together for our own little fireworks show put on by Matt!
Ready for a patriotic bike ride! We all had our swimsuits on for a nice ride along the shoreline from our hotel to the state park beach. Time to relax in the sun and sand!
