More At-Home Art

We discovered the Christmas craft paper and decided to make our own name art.  Christmas in March?! That's as silly as us!

10 Things

We started today's walk out with a goal to find 10 interesting things.  #1 - A worm on the sidewalk.  #2 - An elephant in the lawn.  #3 - Big trees #4 - The river #5 - A fallen down rotten tree #6 - Ducks in the ponds of water blocking the trail And we lost count as we raced through the woods.... But we did find the big tree across the ravine that we like to walk across! Back at home, I kept busy with my new Star Wars Legos from my birthday.  And Eve finished up the donut puzzle (another quarantine pastime).

Independent Art Class

Tape-Chalk Art. Some students followed the directions more closely than others, but all still art.

4pm Walks

We found some twirling fun at West Park -  while we each had our own kind of wheels to move us about.

Nothing Can Keep Us Down

The start of regular walks up to Bluffs Nature Area to get us safely out of the house. There are lots of trails to explore.  And Dad took us to an indoor hockey setup in one of his vacant buildings to burn off more energy!

Banana Pancakes

Who doesn't dance for banana pancakes?

The Start of Quarantine

We've only been home a few days now, but Cora already misses her teachers and was mesmerized by the video that Molly sent of her reading a book to the kids.  We all got busy making lots of homemade goodies in the kitchen!

More Please

St Patrick's Day corned beef? Yes please!

Copycat

After a week watching Dad's morning stretching routine in Utah, I think I've got a good start to my own.

Powderpuff Derby

I came up with a race car design for our Girl Scout event and Dad took me & John to one of his work's maintenance shops to build it.  I think it turned out pretty slick.  And very close to my initial sketch.  We capped the day with dinner at Knight's mesmerized by videos on Mom's phone.
