International Night

After 3 reschedules due to snowdays, it was finally time for International Night. We picked Scotland of course! We learned about clans, different areas of the country that clans are from and about kilts and traditional Highland dress (unfortunately neither of us would wear our kilts).

Buddy Artists

Another winter snowday, so John and I went to Mom's work and got busy creating a castle together. And I practiced writing my full name.  Back at Mom's desk, we created an interpretative art piece.  This one is titled "Big Explosion and Everyone Died - For Pretend". Finally while Mom was in a meeting, John was tasked with re-creating this fish. He did a pretty good job.

Model Student

That;s me in the back row, paying good attention to what Mr Toohey has to say.

Post Birthday Celebration

As part of my birthday celebration, we went to see the Lego 2 movie with my buddy August.  August's dad came too but I think he was more interested in hanging out with Cora.  Then we had my actual birthday cake!  More big wishes but I won't tell you about these ones.

SIX

Today is my sixth birthday! We celebrated with family both near and far - that's Papa Joe & Aunt Diana in Texas on the phone.  I got some cool new sticker activity books.  And an awesome Fitbit from Grandpa & Grandma! And my very own iPad! And more legos from my cousins Nathan & Ella.  Wow - turning six is great!  I was happy to celebrate with Grandma & Grandpa.  And I made a wish for many more awesome birthdays in the years ahead!

Weather Turnaround

Yes, that's Eve taking a selfie at the park - in Michigan - without her jacket on. Yes, it's 4 days after it was below zero temperatures. So we went bike riding and I found lots of puddles to race through.  It was great!
