Another big snowday today! No skiing, just lots of fun in more fresh snow! First the boys ventured out for a snowshoe adventure. John had to work really hard in the deep snow. Then it was the older girls turn for a walk in the woods. Eve wasn't afraid to make make new paths. Meanwhile, I stayed nice and cozy back at the condo.
Turns out that my 'ski school' was really an indoor play school. Which I was OK with during the day, but that didn't mean that I had to miss out on the apres ski hot chocolate! Both Eve & John had to share! Seriously, these boots fit me. I'm not sure why I can't try it!
Thankfully we made it Up North just before they before they closed the highway due to all the snow. When we woke up today, all we could see from our condo was fresh snow! Hitting the slopes earlier and it was still snowing! Eve & Dad were all smiles and rosy cheeks for a fun day on the slopes. We found Little John again - but I'm much bigger now two years later! The weather cleared up by the afternoon for sunshine on fresh powder! Eve got in on picture taking duties of Mom & Dad. And another friendly skier took a picture of the four of us, but the sun was right in our eyes! Post skiing ice cream treats with the Boyne Highland house pup!
I'm really looking forward to next year when I get to ski myself and I don't have to carry around other people's gear. Good thing I'm such a good sister to Eve (who is almost to the top of the steps while I carry her boots).
Cheering on our favorite basketball team! Cora was closely watching the action on the court. And closely paying attention to the snacks. All smiles after I won a pizza from the cheerleaders!
