Sunday Funday

Our busy Sunday afternoon started with a big soccer match-up (that's me in the orange shorts).  And then we headed over to Thomas' house for his birthday party. It was fun seeing my old friends again.  Cora enjoyed hanging out with us too.

Just Rolling With It

Dad took us to see a bunch of old Rolls Royce cars from a group that was staying at his hotel.  John really liked some of the custom details.  Scary cool!  We even got to pretend drive.  John was just itching to get behind the wheel for real!

Snack TIme

I enjoyed snack time on the front porch with Cora today.  And she offered to share hers even though I still had my first snack bar to finish and a back-up waiting next to me.  I spent some time this afternoon drawing animals. Some more realistic than others but I've never seen a real bear in the wild, so maybe they do have red eyes.

Big House Switch-a-roo

Our special guest for the football game today was my Young 5s teacher Q. I had fun for the first half while Eve was at her soccer game.  Then we made a kid switch at the stadium gates for Eve to watch the rest of the game while I headed off to my soccer game. Good thing both Eve and I are on Wolverines soccer teams this year, so our wardrobe change was minimal.

Lego Zoo

I built a zoo fort to play with Cora.  Pretty detailed areas for all the animals and even workshop areas for the zookeepers.

Bye Bye Electric Car

While John & Cora were busy building lego zoos, Dad and I took the Fusion for one last Sunday morning trip to Dexter for cider and donuts! (Don't worry we brought some home for everyone else)

How Many Kids Fit in a Tub?

At least three kids can at our house! Eve and I were smiling nicely, not sure what John is doing.

Another First

My first day of piano lessons was a big success.

School is Hard Work

This back to school business is exhausting - even for toddlers.

Go Blue

Good view today for the first home football game in 2018.

First Day of School

It was a sunshiny morning for me to head off to my first day of kindergarten, Eve to second grade and Cora being the only kid heading to Gretchen's House! I'm all ready to see what Mr Toohey's classroom is all about (and Eve is ready to check our Ms Gibbs' room too).

One Last Day of Summer

Our reward for a really long bike ride to park? Sliding fun before the storm hit!

One Last Jump

One last hurrah at the swim club for the season - and all three of us got to jump at the same time. It was a great summer of fun!

It's Beginning to Seem Like Fall

September means fall - which means apple season! Eve really helps Mommy in the kitchen making yummy baked apples while I "help" too.
