A new big, new playground opened up this week at one of our local parks. So we went to visit - with lots of other kids too - after getting some family photos snapped nearby.    We all loved it!

Monday morning, we got ready for going back to school. We put on some nicer clothes for picture day today! And practiced our smiles! Then after school, I got a different kind of photo shoot - on all kinds of different construction trucks!

I'm a big girl now - moved up to the young toddler room so that means I need my own backpack (Eve's hand-me-down) to carry my nap stuff to school. I was so proud to have my own backpack - it was a delicate balancing act since the bag is about as big as me. But I was able to march on!

The start of school also means it's time for some football! We all put on our Michigan best and headed to the Big House to cheer on our favorite team! Daddy and Cora were all smiles (as Eve and John watched the halftime marching band show)! Post game victory smiles!

Cora wanted to get in on the first day of school pictures! 1st grade for me with my new teacher Ms. Harris and John was off to his first day at the Young 5s classroom!

One last dip in the pool at the swim club for this year (with Eve's goggles to help me look cool)!
