Easter

Turns out the Easter bunny hopped to our house and brought some goodies - new books, swimsuits, markers just to name a few! We met family at the country club for brunch - the practice green turned into a place for kids to play! And be a little mischevious! Also, a place to just lounge around. Silly times with our cousins - - and our grandparents! Back at home, we had our own egg hunt. Eve was a good helper. But I found plenty of eggs on my own!

Master Skiers

After a morning in ski class, Mommy & Daddy picked John & I up to ski the afternoon together. I went with Daddy and mastered the bigger greens and even some blues! I'm a big time skier now! John stayed with Mommy on the flatter greens and did a great job going all by himself! Check it out - The best picture with a bunch of restless - and tired - kids we could get! John really liked the popcorn after dinner!

Winter S'Mores

We found an outdoor fire pit that we brought our own s'mores supplies too - we got some jealous looks from passersby. Eve was very happy since she kept complaining that she didn't get to go to Parents Night Out on Friday night back at school - where they were going to make indoor s'mores! I think outdoor s'mores in Colorado was a much better option!

Skiing the Big Mountains

William and I got to be in the same ski class today! We were a bit competitive about getting down the hill first! Meanwhile, Mommy & Daddy had fun skiing with James & Erika. They made it all the way to very top of the mountain! After a full day of ski class, we made one family run together - John's first time on the chairlift! Do you think my goggles look extra big and Mommy's look extra small? Apparently we switched helmets! Family skiing is fun! Leading the way down the hill!

Colorado!

We left Michigan early in the morning and made it to Winter Park by the afternoon! Eve and I explored the resort area and found some colorful chairs to climb on. Our place for the weekend had a great view of the ski slopes! Our friends arrived in time for dinner - and for William to read us bedtime stories! Double bunk beds in the kids room was a big hit!

My First Trip to the Dentist

After watching Eve get her teeth cleaned, I decided that I could try it out as well. I sat very still and was patient through the whole process! Probably not where the dentist would have wanted us to go, but we went to Washtenaw Dairy after for a special donut treat!

Sleepover

I really don't like taking naps at home anymore, so today during my quiet time, I sneaked into Mommy's bed and started doing some puzzles on her Kindle. I guess today I needed a nap! Good thing I got a little nap because John and I had a sleepover at Grandma and Grandpa's - complete with a night walk in the woods!

Mystery Reader

March is reading month and Grandma surprised my classmates and I this morning! She read a book that the whole class got into! Some of us more than others!  It was a wonderful surprise!

My First Field Trip

My first time riding in the Gretchen's House bus and I got to sit next to Thomas! We made it safely to the petting farm and found lots of animals to chase after! We also found a few animals that didn't mind us getting close to them! And even more animals outside to harass!
