The Nutcracker

A special Sunday afternoon at the theatre! Hooray - Grandma got a 'pass' from the hospital so she could join as originally planned! I really enjoyed the show but was not very inclined to show off any of my own dance moves afterwards. Right after the show, we ran into the main dancer - Clara! I was a bit nervous... A little less nervous when I ran into one of the mouse dancers... And finally a smile by the third time I met one of the dancers!

Dark Friday

We spent the day after Thanksgiving not shopping but going to our first movie! Watching classic Warner Bros cartoons at the Michigan Theater! Over 10 cartoons, about 5 minutes each kept my attention for more than an hour (the popcorn helped too)! Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig plus many others! Great entertainment!

Mastering the Art of Making a Pie Crust

It's very important to knead the dough just enough to mix it but not too much. Viola! A perfect buttery pie crust!

First Snowfall

We awoke to just a dusting of snow and were so excited we ran outside without shoes or coats! By afternoon, we had so much snow we had to put on all of our winter gear to go outside!

Hockey Fan

I was one of Nathan's biggest hockey fans tonight! (John was too but he wanted nothing to do with getting a picture taken)

Swinging Away the Day

It as a great fall afternoon to spend some time at the park. Eve really got into moving us on the tire swing! It was a twirling, swirling good time! As was running down the hill! After we got home, we discovered the little critter who had been munching on our pumpkins. He was not deterred by us watching - or Conor either! Enjoying my yogurt covered pretzels from my trip to the market with Mommy!

Exhausted

Friday night at Pizza House - after a full week at school - I just couldn't even stay awake until the pizza got there!

Post Halloween Pumpkin Pictures

In the light of day, we took some pictures with all of our pumpkin masterpieces! Don't mess with our pumpkins! Two painted by Eve, two painted by me, one dually painted, one by Mommy and one by Daddy - plus one big carved jack-o-lantern! That's a lot of pumpkins!
