Trick or Treat

Grandma came to trick or treat with us! Eve and I got photobombed by Thomas the Owl! We had a good group of friends to spend the evening with. I started eating my treats even before we left the first house! What?! I'm supposed to walk to the next house!! I had so much fun with my school buddies Thomas and August. I quickly learned that I wasn't supposed to eat each treat as soon as I got it.  We even stopped at our babysitter Josephine's house! I was a bit too shy to join in the picture opportunity!

The Giant Pumpkin

After much debate over choosing the perfect pumpkin at the patch, we finally settled on one giant pumpkin. Daddy got some of his tools out to carve since it was so big! Wow - that is big!  Pumpkin head! I helped by pulling out the pieces that Daddy cut. It was a happy giant pumpkin! This was the sketch I made to show Daddy how to carve it. He did a pretty good job! And John and I added stickers! What a happy face!

Soccer Time Again

On the last day of soccer, we got our free t-shirts and even John, my sideline supporter, got one too! And I actually participated in class a bit too! Meanwhile, Mommy & Daddy enjoyed a ferry ride to Sausalito! Far away view of the Golden Gate bridge! Ella came over to spend the evening with us. After playing and eating, it was time to get ready for bed. Ready for bed!

San Francisco

While Mommy & Daddy were busy exploring the sites in San Francisco including the historic Ferry building -  the top of Lombard Street -    hitching a ride on a cable car -  and going down very big hills - we were busy at home and got to eat dinner in the basement with Grandma!

Pumpkin Patch

On the search for the perfect pumpkin. There were too many interesting things all around for us both to look at the camera at the same time! I found some big bales of hay to climb. John tried to move to the big pumpkins (with no success)!

1st Haircut

After 20 months, Daddy decided it was time to get my first haircut. I climbed up into a cool green car, put on a fancy cape and waited. Eve waited patiently - and wondered why I got to do something that she hadn't gotten to do yet herself! Boy, that's a lot of hair to cut off. I hope this lady knows what she's doing. Eve hopped up into the vacant car next to me. I stayed occupied watching cartons while my hair kept getting shorter. And shorter! And still mesmerized by the TV! Beep,  beep. Are you done yet? I've got places to go! My new short 'do!

Last Harvest

John and I raced to our garden to help Mommy with our last harvest. I got out to a big lead and just started strolling.  John eventually caught up. Mommy was busy digging up our sweet potatoes and finding lots of worms for us!  John was curious about the worms too. John wanted to carry the harvest basket back home but Mommy had to take the sweet potatoes out so he could carry it! Both of us were big helpers in our garden this year!

Soccer Distractions

I went with Eve to soccer class this morning. She was more interested in getting her picture with me than play soccer!

School Pictures

My school picture day happened to be just days before my first haircut - so my long blond locks are professionally captured! My friends and I - probably a good thing we have girl teachers otherwise there would be way too many boys in the room! Eve of course got her picture taken too and smiled beautifully as usual. Eve has so many friends in her classroom that they have to go outside for their group picture!
