Dogs and Owls Living Together

Whoo was excited for his first Halloween? John was! He had a friendly doggie to help lead him around the neighborhood for trick or treating. Let me say that the doggie was also VERY excited! Whoo knew that dogs and owls got along so well? So much for the saying that "Dogs shouldn't eat chocolate!"

Carving It Up

October means pumpkin time! It was finally close enough to Halloween that we carved our pumpkins. John's pumpkin had a lot of hair on top. Two matching happy faces! Our garden yielded just the right number and size of pumpkins for the humans of the family. Add in the pumpkin I brought home from my field trip to the apple orchard and there was another one for Conor!

Where did John go?

My buddy Thomas and I had fun exploring this ball pit. Of course, Eve jumped in to have some fun too. I was fairly occupied by this one yellow ball, and I just kept sinking deeper... ...and deeper until I was almost all covered!

School Pictures

My very first school picture! All my friends and teachers in Cozy Cove!  Eve's very first preschool picture! And all of Eve's friends and teachers!

Tailgating

I made it to my first tailgate! Turns out that coolers are just the right height for me to stand up on and walk around.  Daddy and I were having fun in our Maize and Blue.  Eve was decked out all in Michigan (well, except for her shoes)!  She was a happy little tailgater! We had a postgame party with the Coles who always come to the Homecoming game all the way from California. I met my new friend Caroline. While Eve and Jack were having their own fun!

Eight Points Old

It's game day so we were busy getting ready to tailgate and party but that didn't stop Mommy from taking my official 8 month old photos! Thank goodness I was wearing my maize and blue to offset my green 8 month sticker! I've been busy this month working on my various standing skills as well as squatting. I've also been working on my leg press form. Who's ready for some football? I'm certainly ready for another month of exciting adventures!

Drumline

I met my buddy Evan at the UM Marching Band practice. Evan brought his own instruments for us to play.   We were pretty coordinated! John & Eli were our supporting maraca players!

Movin' On Up!

I sure have been lucky to have such wonderful teachers for over 2 years to help prepare me for my first day of preschool! Ms Seema was always ready to lend me a helping hand and give really big hugs! And Ms Katie always brought a smile to my face! I was so excited to spend time with my new teachers and new & old friends, playing and learning in my new room and playground. I'm a big girl now!
